OUR HISTORY
It all began in 1987 when Jean-Luc CORMIER, in partnership with his wife, set up a cabinet-making workshop.
In his early days, he worked with period furniture.
He soon went on to design unique, contemporary kitchens and became an expert in lacquering and finishing.
His top-of-the-range creations are presented at various regional trade fairs, in Paris from 1995, then nationally and internationally.
CORMIER transforms itself, tripling its production area and announcing the opening of showrooms in Paris.
It built up its network and forged various partnerships, notably with offices in New York and retailers in Brussels.
For 15 years now, CORMIER has been exporting almost 40% of its business, and has remained a family-run company.

CORMIER draws on the experience of a multi-disciplinary team, a design office and the expertise of cabinetmakers.
We use state-of-the-art CNC machines to create flawless, solid surfaces that are soft to the touch.
Each component is then worked on by the hands of our craftsmen with dexterity and care.
Our workshops are also equipped with several vertical-flow bodywork cabins, the only guarantee of an impeccable finish.
Finally, we pre-assemble all fixtures in our workshops, with flawless quality control, to obtain authentic, long-lasting fixtures.

We select and work the finest materials: precious woods, matt lacquer or high-gloss marine varnish, marble, granite, quartz, leather…
We specialize in the manufacture of solid wood pedestals, providing you with durable structures.
And for veneer enthusiasts, our cabinetmakers select the finest pieces on the market from a rigorous selection dedicated to the yachting and luxury industries.
We also design high-gloss fronts using a rigorous production and control process.
This gives our surfaces a depth effect and makes them resistant to impact and scratches.
If minerals appeal to you, choose our gemstone worktops and fronts with a wide choice of finishes.
We also work with leather and metal, mainly copper and brass.
